Brief: Create a database of the members of the 44th Battalion from World War One who have a connection to Victoria Park. Either by birth or by living in the area or its surroundings. The 44th Battalion was a truly Western Australian unit that was formed in 1916 and disbanded at the end of hostilities.

Project Overview

Create a customised Advanced Custom Fields database to display the servicemen in an ordered fashion. Create and implement a filter and search functionality to enable the information to be catalogued and searched.

Key Challenges

Information had to be collated from a number of sources to create the data required. While the database and display criteria were similar to the Victoria Park remembers project, there was a difference in the dataset where only one service was included. Only information relating to the period of service within the 44th Battalion was included.
